Do You Have Excitement in Your Life?

Excitement… As an adult excitement is something that is rare. When I was a child excitement was everywhere! I was excited for Fridays, Christmas, that new pair of shoes, my favorite TV show. Close your eyes and think back to when you were young? Remember an exciting moment? The older I became the further apart those moments of excitement became.  Waiting for the birth of my children was exciting. Saying “I DO” to my amazing husband, watching my kids open Christmas presents.. Y’all with me?

Over the past two years I have experienced so much more excitement than all of my adult years put together… Why? We’ve had a rough couple of years. Grief, depression, illness…just to name a few. So what has me jumping up and down for joy on a regular basis? Owning our own business!!

These days it’s rare to find joy and excitement in a job. Jobs are the place you go or the task you do to being home a paycheck. Most Americans don’t find joy in their work. It’s a day in day out routine that has most of us in a state of complacency..

My job is different. For starters I work from home. This gives me the ability to be the main influence in my children’s lives. We also homeschool. I know it’s not for everyone and NO judgement here if you don’t, please… I’m not one of “those” homeschool moms. Lol. We are simply doing what we believe God has called us to do.I get to sleep in later than most, I work my job around my family schedule, and my job is fun and exciting!!! I get to be a part of something BIG!

Since starting our business 2 years ago, Kenan and I have watched so many men and women make dreams become a reality.  The insecure woman standing up in front a crowd of her peers sharing her excitement and teaching others.  The man suffering from depression thinking he will never be able to provide for his family the way he feels he should, now taking his family on tropical vacations all because of the business he got excited about. This woman writing this blog, coming out of a deep dark place in my life and finding excitement around every corner.  New products, new places, new awards, incentives, friendships… I could go on and on.  I picked a few highlights of excitement over my past couple years to share with you.

Was that as exciting for you as it was for me.  Looking at a small portion of the excitement that has happened to our family over the past couple of years makes me want to cry tears of joy!!!  To think it all started with a prayer and a kit.

Pink Zebra is Going to Nashville!

I’ve never been a very patient person.  I like to think I am but in reality I am not.  I’m more of an instant gratification kind of girl.  Can you relate?  Knowing that Kenan and I have a vacation coming up in July is making the clock roll backwards.  Maybe it’s not just the vacation that has me praying God would fast forward time but the place as to which we are going.  Nashville, Tennessee!

Anyone that has known me for more than five minutes KNOWS I love country music.  When I was growing up my mother only had one TV station and that was TNN.  For those of you who are too young to remember it stood for The Nashville Network.  Today we have CMT but it’s just not the same.  Hee-Haw and Nashville Now were two of my favorite shows. Minnie Pearl and her price tag hanging from he hat used to make me giggle and don’t even get me started on Shotgun Red! I even had his stuffed animal!

When I found out that Pink Zebra’s family reunion was in Nashville @ The Gaylord Resort, I about fainted! And then we were told that our “Paisley Awards” were going to be held on The General Jackson showboat.  Well, I didn’t think it could get much better than that.  Oh but it did!!!!  Pink Zebra announced that Managers or higher would be taken BACKSTAGE of the Grand ‘Ol Opry and served cocktails.  After that we would be treated to a show! Be still my heart!  Performers have not been announced yet but I’m praying for George Strait!! 🙂 We shall see. 

I will have LOTS of pictures to post come July!  Kenan and I will be driving from Texas to Tennessee. I’m not really looking forward to 14 hours in a car but hey, the chance I might see George Strait… well it’s worth it!

Is Pink Zebra the Right Choice for Me?

April 12th was our second rally for 2014.  Rallies are a new adventure Pink Zebra has given us!  Pink Zebra consultant’s nation wide meet on the same day, receive a new product, awards recognition, and team training.  It really gets us excited to see how fast our company is growing is such a short amount of time.  We are ranked in the top 10 of fastest growing direct sales companies out there and we are only 30 months old!!  I can’t even imagine what the numbers are going to look like a year from now! Coming up next is the 3rd Annual Family Reunion taking place at the Gaylord Resort in Nashville, TN! I’m so excited! This will be my first family reunion and it’s taking place at my “graceland”!!  Since I am Manager, I will have the privilege of going backstage at the Grand Ole Opry for cocktails with the owners and then on to watch the show!  My mother is smiling down on this one.  Her and I share a deep rooted love for country music! Unfortunately, Kenan and I had to miss out on the Rally this month.  We were blessed to be a part of Rezfest! Jeremy Camp was one of the artist/bands featured at this event.  Pink Zebra was a huge hit among the attendees. We were even right across from a Scentsy booth.  Nothing against Scentsy, they are an amazing company and have amazing consultants, but it was obvious that Kenan and I joined the right direct sales company for the goals we have set.  Which were ground floor, first in our area, new and exciting products, etc.  Everyone had Sprinkle fever!!

In May of 2013 our company hit 6,000 consultants. We are now close to 16,000!
