April Sneak Peaks!!

March is rapidly coming to an end. Spring is starting to take bloom. Our famous Texas bluebonnets are starting to pop their beautiful blue heads through the winter soil and greet us with their beauty. 

April is going to be full of excitement for our family. Kenan and I are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our passports.  This was a first time for both of us and the excitement level every time we check the mailbox has become contagious.  April 26th we will be leaving the country and headed to the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Specifically Negril, Jamaica.  We are spending 5 days and 4 nights with our fellow incentive trip earners at the all inclusive Sandals resort. Unlimited drinks, food, water sports, and relaxation.  Kenan and I will be celebrating our 7 year wedding anniversary on April 12th.  We’ve always wanted to go somewhere amazing for our anniversary and we are finally seeing our dreams of that become a reality.  It’s going to be amazing! 





Congratulations to all of those on the list, they earned this amazing trip by being dedicated to their business and are being richly rewarded for that hard work. This is the 3rd incentive trip for PZ and I am never missing one again! Last year I won an iPad Air but this year, Jamaica Mon!

Days Like This..

Momma said there’d be days like this.. Days like this are the days I want to talk to my mom the most.  Visiting her grave, talking out loud to myself, well, it’s just not the same. I’m used to being able to jump in my car and go hug her, cry on her shoulder, and just be me. Vulnerable Emily. She knew all my scars, mistakes, and yet loved me unconditionally anyway. When the storms of life rage on I crave that hug. That comfort in her arms. That’s security I always felt. That reassuring voice that everything was going to be ok. To just let it out. No judgement, just mother and child doing what God created us to do. Love on each other. 

Since her death the whole in my heart feels like it’s getting bigger.  The shock of her death is gone now. Over the past couple of years I have so much I want to tell her, need to tell her.  I need to tell her how much I miss her. How hard it has been without her. Yet I feel so selfish for wanting her back. She was in so much pain. I could never let her go through that again. I love her too much.  But the family chain broke the day she took her last breath. When I am gone, my children will have that broken chain too. 

What are some ways you cope with missing your loved one so bad that it physically knocks you down? I like to put on a movie, music, or read a good book. Let my mind drift away for a while. 

I pray for all of you out there that can relate to this pain.  Please reach out to me, I would love to pray for you. It helps to know that you not alone.

We’re Going To Jamaica!!

I knew we had won the trip but to see it in writing makes it official!!! April 26-30th Kenan and I will be enjoying the beautiful 7 mile beach in Negril, Jamaica!!

March Is Here – Pink Zebra Style

What an amazing month February was!!! Our team of Rockstars astonished us and broke the record for our second highest team volume ever! Their unique personalities and love of Pink Zebra is unstoppable!! Way to go team!!!!!!
