Then Kenan and I spent some time practicing with our bows. This was my first time ever shooting my compound bow and I think I may be addicted now.

Of course I had to hook Joe up with some Pink Zebra.

Off to the lease…

And we wait.. decided to go with my .308. We named her “Death”.

Unfortunately we didn’t see any pigs just a squirrel and a opossum but that’s ok. Definitely a fun day/night and will be going again soon.

Until then I’ll keep practicing my archery skills until I become a #badassbowhuntress 😉

What’s New For June? Pink Zebra Update!

May has been a really exciting month for Pink Zebra. We’ve had Rallies, new products, sales, and join specials!  Wahhh?  I know, exciting!

One of the awesome parts of being in Club Pink is that I receive the new scent for the next month early!  This time I also received the amazing hostess exclusive shade as well!

I always look forward to our monthly scent called “Paisley’s Pick”. This month I am over the moon thrilled.  Pink Zebra retired our Strawberry Sass a couple of years ago.  This June they’ve released our new, better than ever Fresh Sweet Strawberry!  This girl could not be happier!

I had to open the box outside I was so anxious to smell it! I was not disappointed!! Andrea Garrison who is our head of product development nailed it once again!!!

I put a scoop in my Simmering Lights warmer in my living room and within minutes my house smelt like I was walking thru a strawberry patch. Talk about a happy feeling.

Next I wanted to mix it with something for my bedroom. I grabbed our Paisley’s Pick for May, Mango Ice Cream and added a little Fresh Sweet Strawberry to that.  Oh MY SPRINKLES!  I wish there were such thing as a virtual scratch and sniff. hmmm..

Lets just say I will be stocking up on Fresh Sweet Strawberry when it becomes available June 1st!!!  I’ll take a truck load please!!!

Our hostess shade was even more beautiful than I imagined it would be.  It really captures the Bohemian flare that is so on trend right now.  Big, Bold, and Beautiful.  What I like best about it is you can pair it with one of our Simmering Lights OR use the provided hanging Glimmer Candle to make it look like an actual lantern. SO VERSITILE!

Bragging Rights!

I just have to dedicate a blog post to bragging on my Pink Zebra team! These men and women are just beyond incredible.  Acquaintance who became friends who became family.  I could not run this successful business without them. They are the lifeforce that keeps it going. Watching their lives being changed every day is one of the biggest blessings I could have ever asked for!

Growth..we have seen phenomenal growth just in the past year. These zebras have grown our team to over 300 zebras. Triple of where we were at this year.

Sales Volume… we broke the record this year, specifically in November. Our grand total for sales in 2015 broke $300k. That is huge! In November alone we tipped the scales at just over $52k! That’s a whole lot of Sprinkles y’all!

Comfort Zone.. We took it and smashed it. We have stay at home moms, retired folk, and business women who pushed their boundaries and exceeded even their own expectations personally and in business. I’ve watched this team conquer their fear of public speaking, get out into the community,  share secrets of a troubled past, and find a new self worth. Things that would never be possible without the love and support of the team and company.

January Pink Zebra! Goodbye 2015!

What an amazing year 2015 turned out to be on the business front. Pink Zebra has contunied to change our lives and the lives of so many others!!

In November Kenan promoted to Manager and I finally hit Executive Manager. A goal I had set 2 years prior but refused to give up on! Our team broke records in November by selling over $52k in product! Absolutely amazing. God is so good!

This year we are looking forward to even more blessings and growth. Pink Zebra is definetly the right place add he right time.

Choosing a Direct Sales Company!

Are you thinking about starting your own business? Have you ever considered Direct Sales? No, it’s not a scheme. There are thousands of sound DS companies that have been around for a long time. They didn’t make a name for themselves by bad business. Ever heard of Avon, Tupperware, or Mary Kay?  These companies haven’t maintained being long standing pillars in the world of Direct Sales by scheming. I wonder just how many lives have been changed from just these 3 companies alone. 

I can tell you from personal experience that Pink Zebra has changed my life forever. It can change yours too! When I started this journey over 2 years ago, I didn’t have any experience in direct sales. My mom sold Tupperware before I was born and we always had an Avon lady at our home once a month. This was all before the internet. 

Now with an abundance of information at your fingertips, where do you go? You could get lost for hours on the cyber rabbit trail reading reviews of different companies. Here are a few suggestions from me. 

1) Look for a company that is not saturated in your area. You can usually find that info on the companies main website while doing a locator search. 

2) Consumable! A consumable product means that your customers will keep coming back for more. Make-up, Candles, etc. To me it seems non-consumable items are harder to sale. One can only have so many bags or pieces of jewelry. Don’t get me wrong, I know many women who have done very well for themselves selling non-consumable items. 

3) How old is the company? Most DS companies don’t make it past the first 2 years of business. Being one of the first has it’s perks, but what if that company goes under? Pink Zebra has been around for 4 years as of 9/15.  We’re only continuing to grow. Look for a company that is stable and has room for growth.

4) Watch out for high minimums. Most companies have a minimum purchase that is required from you. I.e. $400 every 3 months.  Pink Zebra has a low minimum. $150 every 6 months to stay active. 

5) Most important of all. Choose a company that you WANT to buy from. Discounts are offered to most consultants with any company. Choosing a company that offers you a product catagory that you already use can save you a ton of money in the long run. I.E. Pink Zebra offers Sprinkle melts and DIY candles, I have saved more than I can count on candles and wax cubes since starting my business. Since everything I purchase for myself comes at a discount of 25% off retail, I know I made a smart business decision even if I never sold to another person. The personal discount alone is worth it. 

6) Choose your sponsor wisely. Be mindful of whose team you are joining. Look for leadership qualities, passion, and dedication in your upline before you purchase your kit. Many have joined a DS company only to regret not researching their upline a little more. 

I hope the helpful hints have given you more of an understanding of what to look for in a company. Direct Sales can truly change your life, free up your schedule, put real money in your bank account, and blossom you into someone you only dreamed of becoming!

Addicted to Periscope!

One of my fellow Pink Zebra sisters started using Periscope a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been hooked from that point on!!!!! 

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Periscope, it’s a recently launched Social Media platform thru Twitter. It’s taking the shareable moments to a whole new level!! Now you can broadcast live anywhere you are! Periscope is approximetly 5 months old and already has 10 million users worldwide. While this app is not yet available on Windows, you can grab the free app on Android or IOS. 

The weath of information running thru Periscope is amazing! I’ve personally gained almost 100 followers in less 4 days from my first broadcast!! Goodbye Facebook. Now videos called “scopes”are only saved for 24 hours, you have the option to save to your device and upload elsewhere. You can do private scopes, share other useres scopes on Twitter, and my favorite perk is the hearts! Yes I said hearts! During a live scope or playback you can tap your screen to give the user hearts. The more hearts, the higher your ranking!

Go check it out. It’s something new and exciting for those of us that are getting bored with Facebook, Instagram, etc!!
