D.I.Y. Glimmer Candles!

There is something special about a candle. We women LOVE candles.The light illuminating in the darkness, coruscating late at night over a bottle of wine, or remembering those that have gone before us. It’s something that we are drawn too, like a pair of fuzzy socks in the winter. A comforting, soothing light, a familiar fragrance…women just love candles. 

My dream was to make my own candles.  I had it all blanned out beautifully in my head. My shop sitting right next to Kenans. Grandchildren watching as their grandmother poured candles and designed stain glass windows.  Grandpa working next door on his woodworking progject. Ahh.. what a happy thought.

Honeydew Melon and Vanilla Creme was the first candle combo I made and boy did it smell good. I had to show everyone and let them sniff it. I took 25 pictures from every angle of that candle!  Somehow I was going to show the world just how awesome it was!!!

Throw Back Thursday!

There is so much excitement in the air around our home. We’re packing up and headed out East tomorrow to see the new Spring/Summer line for Pink Zebras! Our dazzling herd is a force to be reckoned with! With the new product launch just days away, it has me reminiscing about our last catalog reveal in July of 2015!

Rallies have grown from 7 location to 25 locations all over the U.S.! Our family reunion last year had all zebras in one location! Such exciting times! Here are a few throwbacks from July 2015. A life changing event for me.

We heard straight from our CEO Tom Gaines about the growth of Pink Zebra, how the company started, and where we are headed. This just confirmed our choice to align with such a visionary and successful business man.

Managers and above were treated to appetizers and drinks backstage at the Opry!! Followed by a show starring Brad Paisley!

I watched lives changed as team members met our founders and realized how “normal” and fun they were! As if we weren’t already in love with Pink Zebra!

Our training from Belinda Ellsworth was priceless!

I love my team! Upline, sideline, downline, who cares! We are a family! Supporting and encouraging each other. Completely life changing!

Thanks for taking a walk down memory lane with me. Reunion of 2015 will be in San Antonio Texas! I’m already registered!!

I love the start of a new month!  It’s a new chapter in a book. It’s a fresh start.  December has to be one of my favorite months. The Christmas season is always such a bittersweet time.  The memories of loved ones who have passed on, prayers for a white Christmas, hot chocolate around the Christmas tree, and precious time with family.  December brings out the best in most people.
